Routine Basic Cleaning
For everyday dust, you may simply use a dry cloth or a soft-bristled duster to gently wipe down the surface. If there is a significant accumulation of dust, a damp cloth (well-wrung out) may also be used; ensure that your movements remain gentle. As PS wall panels typically feature a smooth surface that resists dust accumulation, simple, periodic cleaning is sufficient to keep them looking clean.
Stain Removal Methods
For fingerprints, grease marks, or minor blemishes, use a soft cloth dampened with a neutral detergent solution (such as diluted dish soap) to wipe the affected area. Follow up by wiping away any residual suds with a cloth dampened with clean water, and finally, dry the surface with a dry cloth. Avoid using strong acids, strong alkalis, or cleaning products with high alcohol concentrations, as these may damage the decorative surface layer.
Precautions and Protection
During the cleaning process, avoid using steel wool, stiff brushes, or sharp tools to prevent scratching the surface. Exercise particular care-using only gentle wiping motions-when cleaning panels featuring laminated films or heat-transfer printed textures. If the wall panels are installed in areas prone to heavy grease and fumes (such as kitchens), you may increase the cleaning frequency as needed; however, always prioritize gentle cleaning methods to prevent the long-term accumulation of grease from compromising the aesthetic appeal of the panels.
