Dust Protection and Gap Concealment
PS moldings serve as transitional zones between walls and floors, as well as between walls and ceilings. They effectively conceal construction imperfections and gaps, preventing dust and debris from accumulating within the joint areas. Particularly at corners and seams-where they are paired with specialized corner pieces or straight connectors-they provide superior sealing, ensuring the space appears neat and seamless.

Moisture Resistance
PS material inherently possesses a low water absorption rate; when combined with surface treatments such as laminating films or protective coatings, the moldings acquire a significant degree of moisture resistance. In high-humidity environments-such as kitchens and bathrooms-properly installed PS moldings act as a barrier, preventing moisture from seeping into wall corners or the base of walls, thereby reducing the risk of mold growth and structural damage to the walls.

Joint Sealing
To enhance sealing performance, sealants or fillers are frequently applied at corners, end points, and joints during the installation process. This practice not only reinforces the dust-proofing and moisture-resistant capabilities of the moldings but also ensures a tight, flush fit between the moldings and the adjacent walls or floors, thereby elevating the overall aesthetic appeal of the space.
