During transport, special care must be taken to protect the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of PS decorative moldings. First, each molding strip should be kept straight to prevent bending or compression. For packaging, it is recommended to use original manufacturer cartons or plastic wrapping, supplemented by a protective surface film to guard against dust, moisture, and external impact.
Handling is an equally critical stage. Long moldings are best carried by two or more people simultaneously; they should be handled gently to avoid impact to the ends or excessive stress on the midsection, which could lead to breakage or deformation. Additionally, care must be taken to avoid contact with sharp or heavy objects to prevent surface scratches.
During transit, the cargo area should be kept dry and level, avoiding exposure to rain or extreme heat. When loading vehicles, the moldings should be stacked in layers with appropriate support; if necessary, foam or bubble wrap cushioning should be inserted between layers. Stacking heights should be kept moderate to ensure that the bottom layers do not suffer deformation under pressure, thereby guaranteeing that the moldings arrive at the job site in a straight and pristine condition.
