When storing PS wall panels, close attention must be paid to environmental conditions; ideally, they should be kept in a dry, well-ventilated, and shaded indoor space. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high-temperature environments, as this can easily lead to minor deformation or surface degradation. Additionally, keep the panels away from damp areas and water sources to prevent moisture from compromising their structural stability.
Proper stacking methods are also crucial. PS wall panels should be stored horizontally and neatly aligned, elevated off the ground using pallets or wooden battens to prevent direct contact with the floor. Stacking heights should be kept moderate to prevent the bottom layers from warping or deforming under prolonged pressure; whenever possible, long-format panels should be laid flat in their entirety rather than being folded or leaned against a support.
Regarding protection, it is recommended to retain the original packaging or cover the panels with plastic sheeting to minimize the risk of dust accumulation and surface scratches. During handling, panels should be lifted and moved with care-particularly long-format panels, which are best handled by two people working in tandem-to prevent damage caused by impacts to the edges or uneven weight distribution. By following these guidelines, you can ensure that the panels remain flat, intact, and ready for use upon arrival at the installation site.
