Material Formulation
The substrate for the decorative moldings should consist of high-purity Polystyrene (PS). Modifying agents-such as tougheners, anti-aging agents, and fillers-should be incorporated as needed to enhance impact resistance, heat resistance, and moisture resistance. Ensuring that the raw materials are thoroughly mixed and free of impurities is a prerequisite for guaranteeing the quality of the subsequent extrusion or compression molding processes.

Extrusion and Molding Precision
The molding process requires stable equipment and precise temperature control to ensure that the cross-sectional dimensions of the moldings remain consistent, the edges are straight, and the finished products are free from warping or distortion. For products featuring hollow interiors or integrated cable channels, it is also essential to ensure the structural integrity of the interior and the uniformity of the wall thickness, thereby facilitating secure installation and stable load-bearing capacity.

Surface Treatment
The surface must be flat, smooth, and free of bubbles, burrs, or scratches. Surface finishing processes-such as thermal transfer printing, lamination, or spray coating-must ensure strong adhesion, uniform coloration, and resistance to abrasion and moisture. Wood grain or stone textures should appear distinct and natural; furthermore, color variations between production batches must be strictly controlled to ensure a consistent aesthetic effect throughout the entire interior decoration scheme.

Dimensional Stability
The length, thickness, height, and curvature of the moldings must strictly adhere to design specifications, with any permissible deviations remaining within established standard tolerances. The finished products should exhibit excellent resistance to temperature fluctuations and humidity; once installed, they should remain resistant to deformation caused by thermal expansion and contraction or changes in ambient humidity, thereby ensuring both their aesthetic appeal and functional integrity over the long term.
