Routine Cleaning
PS moldings feature a smooth surface to which dust and stains do not easily adhere. For routine cleaning, wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid using strong acids, strong alkalis, or corrosive cleaning agents. For stubborn stains, gently wipe with a neutral detergent, then dry the area with a clean, dry cloth. When cleaning, take care not to scrape the surface with hard objects, as this may scratch the decorative film or painted finish.
Environmental Protection
PS decorative moldings should not be exposed for prolonged periods to high temperatures, direct sunlight, or humid environments, as this may lead to minor deformation or accelerated aging. In humid areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, ensure adequate ventilation and prevent direct contact between the moldings and heat sources. In rooms exposed to intense light, consider using sunshades or drawing curtains to prevent color fading.
Periodic Inspection and Maintenance
Periodically inspect the adhesion of the moldings to the walls and ceilings; if any loosening, lifting edges, or cracks are detected, promptly reinforce them using sealant or adhesive. Pay particular attention to joints and corners to ensure the connections remain secure, thereby preventing detachment or dust accumulation during daily use. If necessary, minor surface scratches can be repaired to maintain the overall aesthetic appeal.
